We believe that deep, evidence-based research and reporting is essential to understanding why artistic freedom is threatened and how we can protect it. Our report series is a core part of our work to confront the underlying causes of artistic suppression and to support a future where artists everywhere are free to create, engage, and thrive in their home countries.

Our reports are rooted in international human rights law and informed by on-the-ground insights. They are designed to support a broad audience — from decision-makers and diplomats to artists, cultural leaders, and fellow advocates — in building a more just and expressive world.
