Cara Megan Lewis is an artist and museum leader based in Los Angeles. She was a founding director of Bridge Projects, a former nonprofit curatorial platform exploring the intersections of contemporary art, spirituality, and religious tradition. Since 2022, she has served as Deputy Director of the Wende Museum—a role that, alongside her work at Bridge Projects, reflects her longstanding engagement with human rights issues, history, community engagement, and religious tradition. Lewis has supported artists for over two decades, beginning her career in 2002 at Fraenkel Gallery in San Francisco before earning an MA in Curatorial Practice from California College of the Arts in 2007. As a practicing artist, she collaborates with her husband under the name Díaz Lewis and co-runs Studios Colíbri, an atelier in Baldwin Hills offering art classes and workshops for the local community.
