Roisin Putti serves as AFI’s Human Rights Advocacy Officer, where she articulates issues of artistic freedom using a human rights framework. Her work involves creating strategic networks of human rights organizations throughout the world, in order to build a united global front against persecution and censorship.
Previously, Ms. Putti has worked with Amnesty International and Nonviolence International New York, where she conducted bilateral meetings at the First Committee of the UN General Assembly in 2019 addressing humanitarian concerns. As part of the Cambridge Pro Bono project, she provided research assistance to judges at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
Prior to joining AFI, Ms. Putti received an LLM in International Law from the University of Cambridge. She also holds an LLB in Law and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin.
