AFI has supported thousands artists facing censorship, persecution, and forced displacement. By providing legal protection, resettlement pathways, and opportunities for public engagement, AFI empowers artists to continue their creative practice in safety and reach audiences worldwide.

Since AFI’s inception, artists in AFI’s network have shared their work globally through publications, performances, exhibitions, and other events, affirming artistic freedom as a vital part of cultural and civic life.

For the safety and security of the artists we support, we are not always able to share identifying details, and not all artists in our network are featured here.
