Irene serves as a Senior Researcher and Policy Analyst. Her research focuses on political interferences in the management of cultural institutions.
With nearly 15 years of experience in policy-relevant research in crime and criminal justice, international security, arms control, and disarmament, Dr. Pavesi has worked at international organizations and think tanks such as GunPolicy.org, the Geneva Center for Humanitarian Demining, the Small Arms Survey, and Transcrime. Currently, Dr. Pavesi works as Case Manager at Sethi and Mazaheri LLC, a law firm dedicated to immigration and asylum law.
Before joining this organization, Dr. Pavesi earned a PhD in Criminology and an MS in Applied Social Sciences from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. Dr Pavesi also holds a BS in Sociology from Università Bicocca in Milan.
